About This Site
AVBizOpps.com is where Odom Audio Visual, Inc. (OAV) posts audiovisual projects that are open for subcontractor bids — for example installation labor, cabling, rigging, programming, and commissioning. Each notice has a permanent solicitation number (for example OAV-NE-26-E-0001) and a permanent page address.
Becoming an Approved Bidder
- Complete OAV's subcontractor application. Use an email address you check regularly; it becomes your website sign-in.
- OAV reviews each application. Submitting an application does not grant bidder access.
- After OAV marks your application Approved, go to Bidder Sign-In and activate your account using the same email address. Confirm the address from the email you receive.
If your approval status changes, your access to private notice details and bid submission changes with it.

Submitting a Bid
Open the notice and choose Submit a Bid. Enter your total proposal amount, any notes (qualifications, exclusions, alternates), and attach your proposal files — up to 10 files, 50 MB each. After submitting you receive a confirmation number. You may submit again before the deadline; OAV receives every submission.
Deadlines and Time Zone
All dates and times are Eastern Time (America/New_York). The server checks the response deadline at the moment you submit; submissions after the deadline, or after OAV closes a notice, are rejected. Allow time for large files to upload.
Sign-In Problems
- "Account could not be activated" — use the exact email address from your application, and make sure OAV has approved it. Approval updates normally reach this site within a few minutes.
- No confirmation email — check spam or junk folders, then try activating again.
- Forgot password — use Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
